Real Trees

Trees can be taken to leaf and brush drop-off locations January 6th - January 13th. Please remove ALL decorations.

Drop-off is free on Saturdays for Kansas City residents.

Recycling Tips

If it’s glittery, shiny, waxy, see-through, fabric, or sticky it’s probably not recyclable but you can reuse it.

White tissue paper (might be recyclable)

2ND SPRING CLEANUP DROP-OFF

  The second Spring Cleanup drop-off event is scheduled for June 29, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, open to all KCMO residents. There will be two free drop-off locations in south Kansas City for discarding unwanted items during this time. The initial drop-off location at Ruskin High School's east parking lot, located at 7000 E. 111th St., will accept a wide range of items, including bulky objects like old furniture, leaves and brush, tires (with or without rims), trash, and various household hazardous wastes such as automotive products (antifreeze and used oil), batteries, household cleaners, and lawn and garden chemicals like herbicides, pesticides, and paint. Good evening-                        NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN  UP                                TRASH PICK  UP                              LONGVIEW RD RAYTOWN RD  TO  BLUE RIDGE BLVD. We will meet at Raytown R d  and   Longview Rd at 9:00AM    Saturday, November 6th, 2021 Blue bags, vests and gloves provided. Ruskin Heights, Ruskin Hills, Kirkside, kirktown and Belle Acres participating.
